The Business Unit Leader, within the Manufacturing Operations team, aims to develop the environment and empower their teams to achieve balanced value for People, Profit, and Planet. Representing the Group’s values, purpose, and strategy, the leader is accountable for fostering areas of excellence in their Business Unit. This guarantees performance today and tomorrow. - As a member of the Operations team, focus on enhancing the Shop's overall performance rather than just your own Business Unit. Share procedures between units and contribute to Plant outcomes. Identify and nurture employees' strengths. Back Shop decisions even in uncertain situations. Offer feedback and ideas for improvement. Boost performance through consistent mentoring.
- People Developer: Encourage a life-long learning approach. Ensure development via training and social promotion projects. Apply accessible career paths. Build diverse teams and support skill growth through mentoring.
- Embody our values, purpose & strategy: Consistently demonstrate group principles while motivating teams through Michelin's purpose and Dream. Ensure clear understanding of the Plant strategy and align the vision at the shop level. Respond promptly to employee concerns and emphasize safety as a core value.
- Customer & Business Partner: Comprehend customer needs, lead the Business Unit in producing economic value, and facilitate collaboration with local teams for industrializations, modifications, and digital transformations.
- Environment Promoter: Support and influence progress in reducing the environmental footprint, promote sustainability culture, and implement environmental impact strategies.
