Project Title:

AI-Powered Capacity & Planning Insights Platform

Description:

This project focuses on developing an AI-enabled planning insights platform that consolidates factory capacity, WIP, production loading, bottleneck indicators, and operational constraints into a centralized view. The platform will support Planning and FASM teams in improving planning visibility, evaluating factory readiness, and making data-driven decisions through analytics and intelligent recommendations.

Scope:

• Design and develop a Capacity & Planning Insights Platform for monitoring factory loading, capacity utilization, and WIP trends.
• Integrate relevant planning and production data sources into a centralized platform.
• Develop visualization components such as capacity utilization trends, bottleneck monitoring, production loading analysis, and planning KPIs.
• Develop scenario evaluation and recommendation capabilities to support planning assessments and decision-making.

• Manufacturing Team

Deliverables:

• Able to build an interactive Capacity & Planning Insights Platform.
• Able to integrate planning and production data into a centralized solution.
• Able to visualize key planning KPIs, capacity utilization, WIP trends, and bottleneck indicators.
• Able to provide data-driven planning insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Stretch Goal:

• Develop AI-powered planning insight and recommendation capabilities.
• Build scenario evaluation features for capacity and production loading assessments.
• Identify planning risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities based on data analytics.
• Explore future integration opportunities with planning decision-support workflows.

Requirement:

• Background in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of programming, data analytics, visualization tools, or AI technologies is an added advantage.
