Project Title

AI-Driven Test Engineering Automation and Analytics for NAND Products

Project Description

As an Intern Test Solutions Engineer in Non-Volatile Memory Test Engineering, you will work on advanced semiconductor test engineering projects focused on NAND memory product development, manufacturing test optimization, and Artificial Intelligence-enabled engineering automation.

The project provides hands-on exposure to wafer probe, burn-in, and assembly test solutions used in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with experienced test engineers and cross-functional teams to develop analytical and automation solutions that improve test quality, engineering productivity, cost efficiency, and decision-making.

Through this project, you will apply data analytics, machine learning, scripting, and software development techniques to real engineering challenges while developing practical knowledge of semiconductor memory testing.

• Develop data analytics and Artificial Intelligence-enabled solutions for NAND test engineering.
• Automate selected engineering analyses and validation workflows to reduce manual effort and engineering cycle time.
• Generate actionable insights from large-scale manufacturing and test datasets.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve test effectiveness, product quality, and engineering productivity.

Project Scope

• Develop data analytics and Artificial Intelligence-enabled workflows to improve engineering efficiency across NAND test development and manufacturing.
• Design and implement automation solutions for test-result analysis, wafer tracking, yield correlation, and test-program validation.
• Build dashboards and visualization tools that generate actionable insights from large-scale manufacturing and test datasets.
• Apply scripting and software development techniques to improve test infrastructure, code reusability, and engineering productivity.
• Explore machine learning algorithms for the predictive analysis of test performance, quality indicators, and manufacturing trends.

Learning Opportunities

Skillsets Required

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured-thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Python, C, C++, Java, Structured Query Language, or other relevant programming languages.
• Understanding of statistics, algorithms, data structures, and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence tools, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to work independently on a defined project while collaborating effectively with engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, or relevant data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Git, software development practices, automated testing, or continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices, memory technologies, manufacturing processes, or test engineering concepts.
• Experience using AI Assistants, AI-enabled productivity tools, or software automation platforms.

Course of Interest

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

Duration of Period

The ideal candidate should be able to commit to a full time internship period of 4 to 6 months.
