The team consists of full-stack software engineers who collaborate with manufacturing, information technology, and information security partners to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions. Team members work with a broad range of technologies while partnering with colleagues across multiple geographic regions.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will design, develop, maintain, and support manufacturing and third-party applications that drive operational excellence. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, the ability to work across multiple technologies, and a passion for solving complex business and technical challenges. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support scalable software applications and application security solutions for a global manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and Technology teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues while ensuring the impact of software changes is well understood and documented.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to perform end-to-end testing, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of real-time data applications.
- Apply Generative AI and AI-Assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, support software delivery, and accelerate implementation while maintaining engineering and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing RESTful web services using C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and modern web technologies, including Angular or React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-Assisted coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI solutions, within a software development workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Agentic AI, AI Agents, or related orchestration frameworks involving tool use, memory, or multi-step reasoning.
- Familiarity with MCP, agent SDKs, or similar integration standards for Agentic Solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting secure, scalable enterprise applications in a global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
