Senior Global Frontend Capital Category Supplier Manager, Spares

As the Sr Global FE Capital Spares/Services Manager, you will be developing the Spares and Services procurement strategies and lead global initiatives. You will drive innovation and transformative category initiatives and implement use ofadvanced analytics and artificial intelligence, systems andprocesses for the portfolio. You will be responsible for conveying corporate business initiatives, aligning team and individual goals to business objectives,and driving overall high performance within the team and the department.

Build and Execute Category Strategies

• Work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan strategic sourcing direction for category
• Recommend targets for spend reduction, sourcing efficiency, supplier management and supply base optimization
• Define and deliver category cost savings and scorecard metrictargets, monitor andreport out progress to targets
• Recommend resource levels across FE Procurement sourcingcategories, projects andfunctions
• Monitor and adjust category compliance (e.g. risk, spend, quality, supplier segmentation, management)
• Monitor the implementation of category and sourcing strategies and contract complianceand participate inthe resolution of any constraints or issues
• Communicate sourcing trends and results for FE categories to the Category Director
• Maintain suppliersegmentation map forcategory, and build partnerships with strategic suppliers

Drive Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in FE Spares

• High levels of digital dexterity to achieve Spares digital business transformation
• Enable savings opportunities through data visualization and business intelligence
• Passionate about data / data-driven analysis
• Strong business acumen / industry knowledge and connect leadership and stakeholder data needs

Manage Supplier Relationship Globally

• Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and projects
• Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
• Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance / capability issues to ensure alignment with Micron’s strategic direction
• Ensuresuppliers complywith Micron’s business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies and social responsibility initiatives
• Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership
• Enlist senior management,when appropriate,to help reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers
• Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to suppliers

Interface with Stakeholders, Partners, and Suppliers on Category Strategies

• Interface with internal stakeholders (manufacturing,engineering, finance andsuppliers)
• Lead strategic supplier engagement and execution of global sourcing initiatives
• Drive adoption of category frameworks, processes, and systems
• Lead supplier business reviews and governance cadence

Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions

• Interfaceand collaborate withcross-functional teams and suppliers
• Drive innovation efforts through internal and external collaboration
• Implement processesto monitor stakeholdersatisfaction for key suppliers
• Drive proactive approach with stakeholders when supply issues and/or performance risks exist
• Provide feedback and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Experience

Required

• Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently; ability to work with minimal supervision
• 7+ years experience in procurement,material, spares andservices procurement is preferred (3+years required external)
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively
• Strong business acumen and ability to develop category strategies and market analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
• High data fluency and ability to use advanced analytics to drive decision making
