Responsibilities and Tasks
Equipment Ownership & Stability Management
- Act as the Equipment Owner for assigned process tools or modules
- Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance to meet manufacturing requirements
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair
Equipment Abnormality Analysis & Problem Solving
- Conduct systematic analysis of equipment alarms, failures, and recurring issues Identify and define clear root causes and failure mechanisms
- Develop, validate, and implement improvement actions based on data analysis and experiments
- Create and improve equipment maintenance procedures, checklists, and troubleshooting BKMs.
PM / CM & Component Lifetime Optimization
- Increase tool uptime through systematic problem-solving, quality workmanship, and routine review of equipment documentation.
- Define, optimize, and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) strategies, including scope and frequency
- Support PM release, change control, and risk assessment activities
Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Process, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve equipment issues
- Lead or participate in technical discussions and escalations with equipment vendors
AI Relevant Job Responsibilities
- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business
Qualifications
- Experience with process control charts.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Good time-management and multi-tasking skills.
- A high level of self-motivation, and the proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, environment.
- Good computer knowledge that can be applied to documentation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
