Senior Cloud Solution Architecture Cybersecurity

As a Cloud Solution Architect Security in the Customer Success Unit, you help customers protect their most critical assets while unlocking the full value of the Microsoft cloud. You work across Europe North, engaging directly with security and technology leaders to design, land, and scale modern security solutions that address complex, real-world challenges. In this role, you lead by example with deep technical security experience, bringing together regional teams across seven subsidiaries to drive consistent, scalable security adoption. You translate evolving cybersecurity requirements into actionable architectures, best practices, and adoption motions that strengthen customer security posture and accelerate usage of Microsoft security capabilities. You provide deep technical security expertise, mentor others, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and compliant solutions at scale. Your work directly advances security adoption and growth in Europe North and helps customers build long-term resilience.

Responsibilities

Proactively acts as the voice of the customer and internal communities, translating complex security and cloud challenges into industry-relevant solutions that align to Microsoft product and platform strategy and accelerate secure adoption.Leads, mentors, and assembles virtual teams around security technologies and customer challenges, driving technical readiness, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing across the Customer Success Unit and broader Microsoft field.Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies and proven practices to prepare complex customers for secure operational readiness, long-term organizational adoption, and achievement of business and security outcomes.Anticipates, identifies, escalates, and mitigates technical and business blockers using appropriate tools and governance practices to accelerate secure solution deployment, value realization, and usage across multiple customers and subsidiaries.Identifies and drives new cross-solution opportunities for consumption, usage, and expansion at scale, using market and industry insights to guide customers toward well-architected, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field OR 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field OR 12+ years experience in secure cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business,, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Secure cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
• years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• years experience leading technical projects.
• Technical Certification in Security such as CISSP, CISM, SC-100, SC-500 are preferred

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Belgium is € 93,000.00 - € 181,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 750,000.00 - kr 1,421,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
