About the role

As an AU Building Coordinator, you will be providing day-to-day customer service and administrative support for a building and facilities management business.

Key responsibilities
• Answering and making phone calls
• Monitoring and responding to customer emails
• Managing Zendesk support tickets from residents, owners and clients
• Triaging maintenance requests
• Preparing and issuing work orders to contractors
• Contacting contractors to arrange attendance
• Following up outstanding jobs, quotations and service reports
• Updating residents and clients on job progress
• Escalating urgent or technical matters to the Building/Facility Manager
• Maintaining accurate notes and records in Zendesk
About you
• Property industry experience is strongly preferred
• Ideally 2+ years in strata management, property management, facilities/building management, real estate, maintenance coordination or a similar property-related customer service role
• Experience dealing with residents/tenants, owners, property managers and trades/contractors would be highly desirable
• Previous Zendesk or similar ticketing/CRM experience is preferred
• Friendly, professional and confident communicator
• Highly organised and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
• Patient when dealing with residents and complaints, but assertive enough to chase contractors and obtain answers
• Able to prioritise urgent versus routine matters
• Detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
