About The Team/Project

Join our technology team and help shape the future of Bravura’s applications within the financial services and Investment Funds domain.

As a .NET Developer, you will play an important role in designing, developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with other developers, technical teams and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and continuously improve our products.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, contribute to technical architecture and design decisions, and take ownership of application releases from initial design through to implementation and deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality, scalable and maintainable code for Bravura’s applications within the financial services and Investment Funds domain.
• Design technical solutions and prepare technical specifications.
• Analyse and resolve technical and functional issues reported by clients.
• Provide technical and implementation support throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the evolution of product architecture, technical standards and design patterns.
• Take ownership of application releases, from solution design through to implementation and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of operational practices, including DevOps processes and deployment pipelines.
• Continuously explore new technologies, tools and ways of improving development processes and workflows.

Unleash Your Potential

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET/.NET Framework and C#.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server, including database design concepts, T-SQL, SQL Jobs and creating complex stored procedures.
• Understanding of industry-standard software development methodologies and lifecycles, such as Agile, Scrum and Scrum of Scrums.
• Understanding of software quality concepts, including testing approaches, categories and levels, as well as test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of your work.

It’s great, but not essential, if you have:

• Experience with WinForms, Web APIs, SOAP APIs, WCF or Message Queues.
• Experience delivering applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard platforms such as Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, automate tasks or support software development and content creation.
