Connect the systems. Streamline the business. Own the architecture.
The EDI & Integration Architect is involved in every integration where one Millennium system exchanges data with another. This role evaluates each integration need and helps decide the right approach, whether that is Celigo, a native or vendor-provided connector, a direct API, or a file-based exchange. The role is also the company’s primary owner of the Celigo integrator.io platform and Celigo B2B Manager, responsible for EDI trading partner onboarding, maintenance, and error resolution. It serves as Millennium’s main technical contact for trading partners, works alongside Celigo partner Stratus Green to bring flow development in-house, and partners with the NetSuite Administrator to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
What You’ll Do
Integration Architecture, Design & Ownership
- Lead the end-to-end integration lifecycle for all inter-system data exchanges across new and existing platforms, from architectural design to ongoing support.
- Evaluate integration requirements to determine the optimal technical approach, weighing Celigo integrator.io against native connectors, direct APIs, vendor-provided solutions, or file-based exchanges based on cost, reliability, monitoring, and long-term supportability.
- Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of Celigo integrator.io and Celigo B2B Manager, building and maintaining custom flows, field mappings, hooks, and lookups.
EDI Trading Partner Onboarding & Maintenance
- Execute end-to-end onboarding for new EDI trading partners, managing project kickoffs, ISA/GS identifier exchanges, AS2 connection setups, partner profiles, end-to-end testing, and production cutovers.
- Maintain live trading partner connections within Celigo B2B Manager for core ANSI X12 transaction sets (850, 860, 855, 856, 810, and 997).
- Oversee AS2 certificate lifecycle management, including generation, secure partner exchange, and timely renewals ahead of expiration dates.
- Own, update, and version-control the Millennium EDI Implementation Guideline, ensuring external partners receive clear, timely notifications of schema or policy updates.
Monitoring, Error Resolution & Root Cause Analysis
- Monitor integration error queues and logs across Celigo and connected endpoints, triaging and resolving failed records across both EDI and non-EDI pipelines.
- Drive root-cause investigation to implement permanent systemic fixes rather than relying on manual retries or error suppression.
- Utilize read access in NetSuite to diagnose integration and EDI data mismatches, packaging and escalating required ERP adjustments to the NetSuite Administrator.
- Open, track, and manage vendor support tickets directly with Celigo when platform-level defects or anomalies arise.
Trading Partner & Vendor Relationship Management
- Act as Millennium’s primary technical liaison for trading partners and their third-party EDI service providers.
- Facilitate collaborative testing windows, go-live target dates, and remediation plans alongside external technical teams.
- Partner with Millennium’s implementation partner, Stratus Green, on B2B Manager flow design while systematically building internal development capabilities.
- Manage day-to-day vendor operations and technical alignment with Celigo.
Documentation, Standards & Knowledge Transfer
- Author and maintain technical runbooks for each trading partner and mission-critical integration workflow.
- Create and update architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, transformation logic, and system dependencies in compliance with internal change management frameworks.
- Execute a structured knowledge transfer plan to transition external flow builds from Stratus Green into full internal ownership.
