Kotlin Developer

At Mindboxwe connect top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe.

You’ll be part of the Developer Experience (DevX) Standards and Controls function, responsible for building a platform that helps development teams and control owners manage and monitor compliance with a range of software development standards.

You will work on Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs, within 1 of 2-3 applications and PoCs depending on your experience. All projects follow a microservice architecture and leverage modern development techniques.

Requirements

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to build and maintain products.

• Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end features - applications use a simple UI framework, so it’s not strict front-end work.

• Work closely with the engineering team to design and launch new features.Proactively engage with customers to resolve issues and respond to feature requests.

• Build APIs and microservices addressing key business challenges.

• Operate within an Agile CI/CD environment to deliver rapid, iterative solutions.

• Participate actively in peer reviews and automated test scripting.

Benefits

• Proven experience in Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience in at least two or three of the following:
  • API development
  • SQL / databases
  • HTML / JavaScript
• Familiarity with collaboration tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Microservices and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and English proficiency (B2+).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Linux/AIX/WAS systems administration.
