Requirements

• Design, upgrade, and support IBM DS8K disk hardware and IBM Virtual Tape (TS7700) solutions.
• Manage zSeries Storage components using tools like DFHSM, DFDSS, DFSMS, TDMF, GDPS, CSM.
• Configure and maintain Broadcom DCX hardware, FICON/Fibre setups, using tools such as SanNav and Maps.
• Perform capacity planning, scalability and proactive issue resolution in a large enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with batch management, system programmers, and application teams to ensure platform stability.

Benefits

• 7+ years of experience in similar Mainframe-based storage roles.
• Hands-on experience with zSeries Storage Management & IBM storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Hardware: IBM DS8K, TS7700 solutions, Broadcom/Brocade DCX hardware
  • Software: z/OS, JCL, TSO, SDSF, IDCAMS
  • IBM tools (DFHSM, DFDSS, DFSMS incl. OAM, TDMF, GDPS, CSM)
  • Broadcom CA (CA1, CA Vantage, CA Disk, CA View)
• Experience using Dino Software tools (T-rex, Terradon).

Good to have

• Knowledge of zSeries Systems Programming.
• Experience in capacity planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Proactive approach, strong communication skills, and ability to work in global teams.
