Our client's looking for an experienced Software Security Engineer to help us design and deliver secure, cloud-native platforms and improve engineering resilience. You will work across application architecture, infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices, having a real impact on the security and reliability of services used by thousands of customers.

Requirements

• Design and develop secure application services and APIs.
• Lead technical discussions and translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Improve system reliability and resilience through proactive engineering practices.
• Work independently with strong ownership while collaborating across teams.

Benefits

• Strong Python skills (Python 3.11+) and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Django or FastAPI.
• Proficient in TypeScript frameworks (Angular, NestJS).
• Excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Cloud and infrastructure knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Analytical mindset, learning agility, and problem-solving approach.

Nice to have

• Understanding of open-source licenses (e.g., Apache-2.0, MIT, GPL).
• Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, Ruff, Rye) and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of Go and Java.
• Identity standards and protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• OpenTelemetry/OpenAPI familiarity and visible tech engagement (e.g., GitHub contributions).
