Facility Coordinator Electrical Engineering - Belgium

Permanent position based in Belgium

As a Facility Coordinator Electrical Engineering, you will be responsible for the technical management, planning, and follow-up of electrical installations across our site(s). You combine in-depth electrical expertise with the coordination and supervision of contractors, ensuring that installations operate safely, compliantly, and reliably.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, interpret, and modify electrical schematics using EPLAN.
• Perform cable calculations, including sizing, short-circuit calculations, and selectivity studies.
• Provide technical support for new installations, expansions, and modifications.
• Coordinate and oversee electrical inspections in accordance with AREI regulations: prepare inspection dossiers, act as the point of contact for inspection bodies, and follow up on and resolve any remarks or non-conformities.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors: provide daily guidance and oversight, serve as the technical point of contact, and monitor quality, safety, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility and energy installations.
• Report on project progress, deviations, and improvement opportunities.

Who Are You?

• You have a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• You possess strong knowledge of electrical installations (low-voltage; medium-voltage knowledge is an asset).
• Experience with EPLAN is an advantage.
• You have experience with cable calculations and technical documentation.
• You have a solid understanding of AREI regulations and electrical inspections.
• You are practical, structured, and take responsibility for your work.
• You have a good command of Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is an asset.

Industrial Electrical Engineering qualification

Strong knowledge of electrical installations (low-voltage; medium-voltage)

Experience with EPLAN

Experience with cable calculations and technical documentation

Solid understanding of AREI regulations and electrical inspections
