Full Stack Developer

Position: Full Stack Engineer

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite position)

Role Overview

This role builds user-facing product features and the data and integration layers that power them, owning the full path from the interface a customer touches to the systems that feed it. You will work across frontend interfaces, backend services, and RESTful APIs, and across the data pipelines and integrations that keep information flowing reliably between disparate systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and build full-stack product features, from frontend UI through backend services and APIs, from design to production.

· Build and maintain data pipelines and integration services that move, transform, and reconcile data across multiple systems and data stores.

· Design and implement RESTful APIs and service-layer components that expose business logic and data to frontend and downstream applications.

· Implement event-driven architectures and idempotent processing to ensure reliable data flow between services.

· Partner with product managers and designers to scope requirements and turn them into shippable increments.

· Instrument features for experimentation and measurement (A/B testing, analytics, usage tracking).

· Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable application development, following engineering best practices.

· Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, release readiness, and production support.

Required Qualifications

· 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

· Backend development experience with Node.js and Python; familiarity with NestJS or a comparable framework.

· Strong frontend development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or an equivalent modern framework.

· Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service-layer components.

· Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and event-driven data integration.

· Experience building and deploying cloud-native services with AWS (e.g., ECS, Fargate, S3) and Docker technologies.

· Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

· Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with AI-assisted or chat-driven product interfaces.

· Familiarity with data warehousing or analytics platforms (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
