Backend Engineer (Senior+)

The Opportunity: 

Miris is seeking skilled Backend Engineers to join our dynamic and fully remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing a website backend in Go, web application security, and network architecture. You will play a crucial role in supporting customers who use Miris to deliver 3D content for linear storytelling on various AR/VR devices.

What You'll Do:

• Design backend services and the API layer for a multi-tenant streaming service
• Implement full customer-facing and enterprise-facing web server backend operating at scale
• Web app architecture and security
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing codebases to improve global performance, scale, reliability, and maintainability

What You'l Bring: 

• 7+ years minimum experience with backend services and API development
• Experience building high-traffic web services in Go
• Knowledge and understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems
• Knowledge and understanding of architecture and patterns for complex web services
• Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs
• Experience working with containers and CDNs

Target Base Salary Range

$102,693—$287,488 USD
