About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our Singapore office. You will serve as the backbone of our daily operations, overseeing vendor relationships, office logistics, and event planning. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, anticipates and solves problems before they arise, and is dedicated to creating an outstanding workplace experience for everyone.
What You'll Do
Serve as the primary resource for employees regarding office-related questions and general support
Act as the main point of contact with property and building management for routine matters, such as access, repairs, deliveries, and building notices
Ensure pantries, office supplies, and other essentials are always stocked by managing orders and inventory
Conduct daily inspections to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace
Manage office repairs and maintenance needs
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and package processing
Plan and execute employee engagement events for the local team, and support the Marketing team in hosting external events at the office
Oversee the reception desk as needed, particularly during special events, important meetings, or high-profile occasions
Support workplace team initiatives across the APAC region
Ensure office operations comply with local Singapore workplace regulations, such as MOM guidelines and workplace safety standards
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in office management or workplace operations (experience in a startup or tech company is a plus)
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A proactive, can-do attitude, willing to tackle tasks of any size, and a genuine desire to help others
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and ticketing systems
Familiarity with Singapore employment and workplace norms is a plus
Experience working across different time zones is a plus
A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and works well with colleagues across departments
