Senior Tax Accountant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven tax professional to join our Client Taxation & ATO Reporting team as a Senior Tax Accountant. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely taxation services to our superannuation clients, while helping to ensure our systems and processes remain compliant and efficient.

In this role, you’ll:

• Prepare and review tax returns, activity statements, and tax provision calculations for superannuation funds
• Support the Head of Tax in implementing legislative changes, drafting policies, and delivering tax technical advice
• Maintain and enhance internal tax models and documentation to improve process efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients and tax advisors
• Contribute to tax-related projects, client onboarding, and respond to ATO queries and audits

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 2-3 years’ experience in tax, ideally with exposure to superannuation or custody
• A solid understanding of tax law and regulatory frameworks affecting super funds
• Understanding of tax treatment of unit pricing is a significant advantage
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• CA/CPA qualification (or close to completion) and registered tax agent status
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems
