The Mechanical Engineering team develops practical solutions for a wide range of Mobileye systems, including vehicle and sensor integration, opto-mechanical systems, electronic packaging, prototypes, and test equipment.
We are a small, experienced, hands-on team working closely with system engineering, hardware, algorithm, optics, vehicle, and manufacturing teams, as well as suppliers. Our work covers the full development process-from requirements and concept design through analysis, prototyping, validation, and production support.
In this role, you will focus mainly on integrating a wide range of sensors across diverse platforms while contributing to other mechanical engineering projects as needed.
What will your job look like:
- Design mounts and installation solutions for cameras, lidar, radar, computing units, and related hardware.
- Develop projects from requirements and concept through detailed design, prototype, validation, and release.
- Perform initial structural analysis and validation of designs for vehicle loads, vibration, and durability.
- Prepare 3D models, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analyses, and production documentation.
- Build and test prototypes and installation kits.
- Work closely with vehicle, hardware, system, manufacturing, purchasing, and supplier teams.
- Support manufacturing and resolve design and installation issues.
All you need is:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies, preferably for vehicle installations.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks - mandatory.
- Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, and 3D printing.
- Hands-on experience taking designs from concept through manufacturing and validation.
- Ability to manage several projects independently.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with structural analysis and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drawing release.
- Automotive, Robotaxi, or autonomous-vehicle experience.
- Experience with vibration and environmental validation.
- Mass-production and supplier-management experience.
- Opto-Mechanical experience, including camera mounting, aiming, or calibration.
- CATIA experience.
