- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium.
- Good understanding of web UI automation concepts.
- Knowledge of locators, waits, assertions, test execution, screenshots/logging, and handling dynamic web elements.
- Knowledge of Java / JavaScript / TypeScript / Python relevant to the automation framework used.
- Basic API testing using Postman or equivalent.
- Good working knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.
- Experience with Jira or equivalent defect-management tools.
- Understanding of Git/version control.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution is an advantage.
