We're building an AI agent that one day will be able to run an entire e-commerce business alone. Molin is a fast-moving startup at the cutting edge of AI, working with SMB and enterprise clients to reshape how online businesses operate. Now, we're expanding into Germany - Europe's largest e-commerce market - and we're looking for the person who will bring Molin to German online stores.

The Role

As our Sales Manager for Germany, you'll own our go-to-market motion for the German SMB market and personally sell Molin AI to online shops running on platforms like Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce, JTL, and others. You'll be one of the first sales hires on the ground in Germany, working directly with leadership to grow the number of shops using Molin and to expand the AI solutions each of them buys.

This is not a role for someone who wants an inherited pipeline. You'll set up your own meetings, run your own demos, and close your own deals - from small online shops to larger, fast-scaling SMBs. If you know how German e-commerce merchants think, what they need, and how to get them on a call, this is for you.

What You'll Do

• Own the full sales cycle in Germany - from prospecting and first contact through demo, negotiation, and close.
• Set up and run meetings with SMBs and larger SMBs across the German e-commerce landscape, whatever platform their shop runs on.
• Grow the number of shops using Molin and expand each account by selling more of our AI solutions over time.
• Build and execute the German GTM playbook: target lists, outreach strategy, positioning, and competitive narrative tailored to the local market.
• Lead product demonstrations, translating Molin's capabilities into concrete business outcomes (cost reduction, conversion lift, CX scalability).
• Define and track the metrics that matter - measure your pipeline, kill what doesn't work, double down on what does.
• Talk to merchants constantly - their words become our copy, their wins become our case studies.
• Partner closely with product, growth, and leadership to feed market intelligence back into the company and shape the roadmap for German e-commerce needs.

Requirements

• Native German speaker with full professional fluency in English (C1+). You'll be selling in German and reporting/collaborating in English daily.
• Minimum 2+ years of digital SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
• Comfortable owning the full cycle - prospecting, booking your own meetings, demoing, and closing.
• Strong understanding of how German SMB e-commerce merchants evaluate and buy software, including data protection (DSGVO/GDPR).
• Self-starter mentality - you thrive in an early-stage environment where you're building, not maintaining.
• Active and native AI user - you understand the technology you're selling because you use it every day.
• Based in Germany, with willingness to travel domestically for client meetings and events.

Nice to Have

• Experience selling e-commerce tooling or platforms (Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce, JTL, CX tools, e-commerce infrastructure, or adjacent categories).
• Background in customer service technology, conversational AI, or e-commerce platforms.
• Existing relationships with German online merchants, agencies, or e-commerce consultancies.
• Startup experience - you know how to operate without a 50-person marketing team behind you.

Compensation

• Base salary: €40,000
• OTE: €65,000 (uncapped commission with accelerators)
• Equity in an early-stage AI company
