Senior EHS Engineer

Job Title:

Summary:

•Serves as site authoritative expert in the safety field, responsible for driving technical innovation, handling the complex safety issues.

Responsibilities Include:

• Take as one safety mentor role to new safety people, support new safety people grow up;

• Lead site safety standardization system implementation internal and external;

• Lead site safety production license upgrade every 3 years;

• Support internal (company part) and external (government part) new and existed standards/ new concept development , fully used specialized depth knowledge and expertise in safety area contribute to site level;

• Support site Safe Work Permit program, approve designated safe work permits;

• Support site new product introduction(NPI) or new product transfer(NPT) program, ensure site new product are compliance with regulation and consistent with business objectives;

• Support site safety regulatory required system or projects, develop solutions to fully manage new requirement/new issues, 100% compliance with new requirement;

• Support site compliance gap assessment, identify gap, achieve Capex budget and tracking gap closure;

• Support site construction safety and contractor safety program, manage part of project safety approval documentation per manager assigned;

• Participate site emergency response program and enhance ERT team member’s capability;

• Participate site fire safety and drive flammable liquid handling program, make site meet global MS standard and China local regulations;

• Support site procedure control, keep procedure compliance with regulation and global standard, keep 100% compliance with procedure;

• Support site HAZOP program and facilitate site LOPA implementation.
