Position Overview:

The Manager, Box Office is responsible for the management of part-time staff. This position will focus on supporting operational Box Office activities during events at EagleBank Arena.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Box Office staff with responsibility for scheduling, evaluating performances and overseeing accurate customer service actions of all staff.
  • Manage the Arena’s Group Sales and ADA programs.
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the box office and all part-time staff.
  • Train new employees in box office policy and procedures, and the use of ticketing equipment.
  • Assist with group sales reports and Box Office statements, settlement reports, and daily ticket sales reports.
  • Oversee the reconcilement and deposit of daily sales receipts, invoice payments, and event deposits/cash advances.
  • Attend staff and production meetings.
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures that are consistent with EagleBank Arena policies and procedures.
  • Teach and advise staff on policy changes or working standards.
  • Monitor departmental operations and objectives to ensure the most effective services are being provided.
  • Process internal comp requests, keep track of inventory and ticket delivery.
  • Oversee donation requests and fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure delivery of quality services and resolve operational problems.
  • Assist the Director with reports, promoter requests, show builds and managing events on Ticketmaster.
  • Manage staff during events and assist with promoter needs on day of show.
  • Oversee customer service issues during events, including working with Guest Services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years Box Office experience or related management experience.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Host & TM1 computer systems, Microsoft Office, and Momentus Elite (formerly VenueOps).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Range:  $67,500k - 72,500k USD.
