Our Defense division in Salt Lake City, UT is eagerly looking for an Assembler II to join their dynamic team. You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Operations Supervisor.
This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Formal schedule is M-Th, 3:00pm - 12:00am, every other Fri 3:00pm - 11:00pm)
To be considered for thisAssembler II - 2nd Shiftrole, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required, Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired.
- 3+ years’ electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred
- Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
- Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Commitment to contribute to a high-performing lean management system that thrives on collaborative continuous improvement.

- Experience leading process improvements and/or involvement in a structured lean management system.
As ourAssembler II - 2nd Shift, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:
- Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
- Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
- Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
- Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
- Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
- Cross training on multiple production lines

Salary Range Transparency:

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
