1. Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, sales managers and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead regular business reviews, performance meetings, and service-level discussions.
  • Resolve escalations, negotiate solutions, and ensure proactive communication throughout the maintenance lifecycle.

2. Contract Management & Commercial Governance

  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and renewal.
  • Ensure all commercial agreements are aligned with operational capabilities and financial targets.
  • Monitor contract performance, KPIs, penalties, and revenue leakage, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and margin management.

3. Business Development & Growth Strategy

  • Identify and collaborate with sales team to leverage new business opportunities within existing and new customer portfolios.
  • Develop commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and tender responses for MRO services.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Support strategic partnerships, alliances, and capability expansion initiatives.

4. Leadership of Customer Services, Materials & Stores

  • Lead and develop the Customer Services and Materials teams to ensure operational excellence and customer-centric performance.
  • Drive process improvements across order management, material planning, logistics, and customer communication.
  • Ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient stores operations to support maintenance TAT (Turnaround Time).
  • Implement KPIs, dashboards, and performance routines to ensure alignment with commercial and operational goals

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Lead production planning with accurate customer forecasts and commercial insights.
  • Participate in internal governance forums, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within MRO, aviation services, or aerospace.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes, material management, and MRO commercial models.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, customer relationship management, and commercial strategy.
  • Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience with EASA/FAA regulatory environments.

Desirable

  • MBA or advanced business qualification.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRO systems.
