Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Development Sales Specialist to join our client’s team in Nagoya. In this role, you will manage customer-facing projects end to end, create product introduction materials, and lead sales activities with potential users.

On a given day, a Business Development Sales Specialist will:

• Oversee customer projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with stakeholders and facilitating regular progress meetings.
• Create and manage bilingual (Japanese/English) project materials, presentations, documentation, and contracts, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout project planning and execution.
• Prepare tailored quotes based on potential users' needs and support the process through to invoicing.
• Lead and participate in meetings with potential users and stakeholders in both Japanese and English, driving discussions and ensuring alignment.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• 3-5 years of professional work experience, including sales experience in a professional environment.
• Basic knowledge of cloud services or related technologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience analyzing data and preparing business materials.
• Experience working effectively in international or multicultural environments and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Native-level Japanese and fluent English, with the ability to communicate confidently in business conversations and in written documentation.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to clarify requirements, identify potential issues, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Business experience in automotive OEM related projects and B2B sales.
• Practical experience in legal affairs, including overseas transactions and compliance with Foreign Exchange laws (foreign exchange and withholding tax handling).

Employment Conditions

• Employment Type: Fixed term contract through MTC. This is a contingent worker assignment, so you will remain an MTC employee throughout the engagement.

• Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

• Location & Schedule: Central Nagoya. Onsite 3 days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely.

• Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skillset (details shared during the interview process).

• Alllowance: Commuting Allowance

• Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (1-hour break)

• Holidays; Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese public holidays ※ Annual paid leave and special leave also provided

• Insurance: Employment insurance, health insurance, employees' pension insurance, workers' accident compensation insurance

• Smoking Policy: No smoking indoors in principle

• This position is open only to candidates who currently reside in Japan. Relocation support and visa sponsorship will not be provided.
