Senior Account Executive (m/f/d) - Applied AI

As Senior Account Executive (m/f/d), you are part of one of our Business Units Industrial AI & Automation or Industrial IoT and are responsible for selling complex AI projects in an industrial context. Our client base ranges from DAX-listed companies to hidden champions. You identify relevant target companies, qualify strategic opportunities in the fields of Applied AI, LLMs, Computer Vision, IoT, Industrial Automation, and Robotics, and develop tailored AI solutions for our clients together with Project Owners and Engineers.

Your Role

• Strategic Market Insights: You analyze industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies, specifically identify relevant decision-makers, target groups, and personas, and position eigenblue as the leading partner for AI-based R&D systems
• End-to-End Ownership: You own the entire sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities through complex solution-scoping processes to negotiating and closing innovative AI projects
• Trusted Advisor for AI Transformation: You build long-term relationships with decision-makers in Engineering, Innovation, and Digital Units, and support them in introducing Applied AI into their development and production landscapes
• Deep-Tech Solution Selling: Together with our engineers, you translate complex customer requirements into custom-developed AI systems that are integrated directly into our customers' real products and processes
• Impact-Driven Sales Excellence: You work in a data-driven way, develop go-to-market strategies, and contribute your ideas on how to take AI sales to the next level

Your Profile

• Track record of at least 4 years in B2B Sales or a comparable role, with proven experience managing complex sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and longer decision-making processes, ideally in a consulting, services, or tech start-up environment
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a technical or digital focus
• Solid understanding of the market and interest in emerging technologies, in particular Applied AI, LLMs, Computer Vision, multimodal AI models, Robotics, and Mechatronics, as well as their application in industrial systems
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to grasp complex technical challenges and derive clear business value for customers
• Confident demeanor, strong networking skills, excellent negotiation skills, and business fluency in both German and English
