Department Overview

Job Description

• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and systems used for commercial and first-responder radio products.
• Design various Radio Frequency (RF) sub-systems critical for both portable and mobile radios, including transmitter fixed and variable gain amplifiers, harmonic filters, antenna switch, and transmitter power control.
• Develop and support factory test plans essential to mass production of radio products.
• Work closely with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team during the prototype phase to build prototypes.
• Collaborate with Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams on product development and develop intellectual property for the corporation.
• Support factory builds at internal and external manufacturing sites.
• Develop test automation for both sub-block and radios system level measurements to ensure products meet technical requirements.
• Support RF design and testing of two-way radios, including RF circuitry (BT, Wifi, and LTE) and FM technologies.
• Work with teams supporting, preparing, and submitting Regulatory filings for assigned products.

Basic Requirements

• Masters degree or
• Bachelors degree + 2 years experience.
