Department OverviewWhen every second counts, communication must be flawless. Our Astro Console Team in Kraków builds the mission-critical dispatch and content-logging solutions used by dispatchers, 911 operators, police, fire departments and military personnel worldwide.
We don't just "facilitate audio"; we provide the lifeline between dispatchers and first responders. Our platform integrates real-time secure voice, instant recording and intelligent text communication to ensure emergency services operate at peak efficiency.
You’ll join a global, cross-functional ensemble of 100 experts-engineers, testers and product owner-all dedicated to delivering "zero-failure" software.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:Lead and develop teams of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, support and high performance.
Mentorship:Coach and mentor team members with their career development.
Operational Excellence:Develop and enforce best practices in engineering processes to enhance overall operational performance.
Project Management: Oversee the delivery of high-priority, complex technical initiatives.
Strategic Execution:Provide updates to the leadership team on team progress, risks and issues.
Basic Requirements
Education:MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related technical engineering discipline.
Experience:Proven experience and knowledge of the software development process and Agile/Scrum practices.
Communication Skills:Excellent English language skills allowing efficient global communication.
Problem Solving:Ability to identify roadblocks and drive them promptly to resolution.
AI Proficiency: Demonstrated eagerness to explore, test and integrate AI and automation capabilities into routine tasks to drive continuous improvement in engineering efficiency.
Compensation Advocacy and Recognition: Ability to provide fair recognition and advocate for appropriate rewards, promotions and compensation for team members, ensuring process transparency.
Technical Background:Prior experience as Developer, Architect or other technical role.
