We are hiring a skilled Backend Developer with 6-10 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Strong. NET Core /. NET 6+ / C# experience.
  • REST API design and integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of MCP concepts.
  • Azure cloud development experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure.
  • Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, Azure Key Vault.
  • Authentication and authorisation using OAuth2 OIDC, JWT, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar.
  • App Insights, Azure Monitor, or structured logging experience.
  • SQL/NoSQL database experience.
  • Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture using Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka, or similar.
  • Understanding of resilient backend design, retries, timeouts, and error handling.
  • Unit testing and API testing experience.
  • Knowledge of AI workflows and knowledge/awareness of LangGraph or its alternatives.
  • Exposure to Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or LLM applications.
  • Experience building backend APIs for AI tools or conversational workflows.
  • Experience with AKS, containers, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
