Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver technical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades for advanced burn-in test chambers, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians to complete daily technical service tasks efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration systems to identify and resolve faults in burn-in test chambers
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration repairs to maintain equipment functionality
- Implement modifications and upgrades based on customer requirements to enhance system performance
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration schematics to support troubleshooting and repair activities
- Use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data loggers proficiently to diagnose system issues
- Liaise with customers to schedule work and communicate service progress effectively
- Generate detailed technical reports documenting service and repair jobs for record-keeping and analysis
- Maintain an accurate equipment service database to track maintenance history and parts usage
- Source service parts and prepare quotations to support repair and maintenance operations
- Work flexible hours, including late shifts and standby during weekends, to meet operational demands
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid Class 2B / 3 driving licence to support operational requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and programming knowledge to facilitate troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience with ISO17025 Calibration processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Experience with electrical heating systems and refrigeration control to enhance repair capabilities
