Mujin develops software for industrial robotics that enables vision-guided motion planning and real-time execution for warehouse automation and manufacturing. Its flagship controller integrates perception, motion planning, and robot control to allow teachingless operation of robotic arms for tasks such as case packing, palletizing and piece picking. The company primarily serves logistics, e-commerce fulfillment and manufacturing customers globally from its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Are you ready to help build the supply chain behind the future of industrial robotics?

At Mujin, we're transforming manufacturing and logistics through intelligent robotics powered by MujinOS, our hardware-agnostic automation platform. As our European operations continue to grow, we're looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to ensure the seamless flow of materials that support our robotic automation projects across Europe.

In this role, you'll manage sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

    • Source and procure components for robotic automation systems, including robots, sensors, safety equipment, grippers, and other industrial hardware.
    • Develop RFQs/RFPs in collaboration with engineering teams and evaluate supplier proposals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating competitive pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
    • Create purchase orders and manage procurement activities using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    • Manage warehouse operations, including goods receipt, storage, inventory control, material picking, and stock accuracy.
    • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with international shipping requirements and Incoterms.
    • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure materials are available according to project schedules.
    • Monitor inventory levels, perform stock reconciliations, and support financial reporting.
    • Support supplier quality management by coordinating inspections, resolving quality issues, and participating in supplier evaluations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory.
    • Collaborate with engineering, sales, finance, and operations teams to support successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience sourcing technical or industrial components, preferably within manufacturing, automation, or robotics.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and international logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
