Slitting Machine Operator


The Role

Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications, including blade positioning, web path setup, core loading, and tension adjustment.
Inspect printed rolls during slitting and identify, mark, and remove defects to ensure customer quality requirements are met.
Monitor machine performance, web tension, and roll quality — edge quality, winding, roll hardness, and squareness — throughout production.
Complete production records, including run sheets, pallet tags, waste logs, and quality records, and report equipment issues promptly.
Maintain housekeeping, safety, and quality standards always.
