Multiquipisseekingaskilledandcustomer-focused ServiceTechnicianII to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of our industry-leading construction equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment is returned to service safely,efficiently,andtothehighestqualitystandards.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated technician with strong troubleshooting abilities, a solid understanding of construction equipment systems, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer satisfaction, equipment reliability,andoperationalexcellence.

WhatYou'llDo

EquipmentService&Repair

• PerformpreventativemaintenanceonconstructionequipmentinaccordancewithMultiquipserviceschedulesandestablishedmaintenanceguidelines.
• Diagnoseandtroubleshootmechanical,electrical,hydraulic,fuel,cooling,andrelatedequipmentsystems.
• Identifyrequiredreplacementpartsandcoordinateorderingtocompleterepairsefficiently.
• Performrepairsonconstructionequipmentandsupportingaccessories.
• Remove,disassemble,repair,assemble,andinstallmechanical,electrical,andhydrauliccomponents.
• Inspect,repair,andmaintainfuelsystems,coolingsystems,electricalsystems,andotherequipmentsupportsystems.
• ConductDOTinspectionsandrepairsontrailersmanufacturedbyMultiquip.
• Properlysetup,test,andverifyequipmentfunctionalityusingestablishedtestingproceduresandsafeoperatingpractices.
• Assistwithfieldserviceworkandtraveltocustomerjobsitesasneeded.

ElectricalDiagnostics&Testing

• Interpretandutilizeschematics,wiringdiagrams,servicemanuals,andtroubleshootingflowcharts.
• Performcontinuityandfunctionalitytestingusingohmmeters,testlights,andotherdiagnosticequipment.
• Route,cut,twist,terminate,solder,andsecurewiringaccordingtoequipmentspecifications.
• Installandconnectelectricalaccessoriesincludingrelays,switches,circuitbreakers,plugs,solenoids,andrelatedcomponents.
• Diagnoseandrepairelectricalfaultsandwiringissueswithinconstructionequipmentsystems.

Inventory,Documentation&OperationalSupport

• Trackandmanageassignedinventorythroughoutinspectionandrepairprocesses.
• Requestparts,materials,tools,andsuppliestomaintainadequateinventorylevelsandsupportrepairactivities.
• Accuratelyprepareandcompleteservicereports,repairdocumentation,inspectionrecords,andrelatedpaperwork.
• UtilizeMicrosoftOffice,AdobeAcrobat,web-basedreportingsystems,andservicemanagementtools.
• Participateinmeetings,trainingsessions,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• Supportfellowtechniciansandcollaboratewiththeserviceteamtoensuretimelycompletionofrepairsandmaintenanceactivities.
• Performadditionaldutiesandspecialprojectsasassigned.

WhatYou'llBring

Education&Experience

• HighSchoolDiplomaorGEDrequired.
• Minimumofthree(3)yearsofexperienceservicingcurrent-model(2020andnewer)smalltomediumconstructionequipment.
• Experiencediagnosingandrepairingmechanical,electrical,andhydraulicsystems.
• Priorexperienceinconstructionequipment,heavyequipment,industrialequipment,orrelatedserviceenvironmentspreferred.

TechnicalSkills

• Strongengine,mechanical,hydraulic,andelectricaltroubleshootingabilities.
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretwiringdiagrams,schematics,repairmanuals,andtechnicaldocumentation.
• Knowledgeofpreventativemaintenanceprogramsandrepairprocedures.
• Experienceoperatingdiagnosticandelectricaltestingequipment.
• ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeapplications,AdobeAcrobat,andweb-basedservicesystems.
• Abilitytomaintainaccurateservicerecordsandrepairdocumentation.
• Mustpossessandmaintainstandardtoolingrequiredtoperformequipmentrepairs.

Certifications&Licenses

• ValidCaliforniaDriver'sLicensewithasatisfactorydrivingrecordrequired.
• DOTinspectioncertificationisavailableandmayberequiredtosupporttrailerinspectionresponsibilities.
• Additionalequipmentorservicecertificationsmayberequiredbasedonbusinessneeds.

Compensation & Benefits

• $28.00/hr-$35.00/hr 
• 11 paid holidays
