What You Will Do
As an Operations Intern, you will support the Operations Consulting team on projects related to the financial operations lifecycle, post-trade processes, and configuration activities within the MX.3 platform.
Under supervision, you will participate in the following activities:
- Process Analysis: Support the analysis of operational processes related to financial markets and industry best practices.
- Trade Lifecycle Management: Assist with activities related to trade confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and monitoring of financial transactions.
- Requirements Gathering: Participate in workshops and analysis sessions to understand business needs and document requirements.
- Testing & Validation: Support the preparation and execution of functional testing to validate configurations and processes.
- Project Participation: Contribute to different implementation phases, including analysis, configuration, testing, and support.
- Training & Learning: Participate in internal training programs focused on financial markets and the MX.3 platform.
- Collaborative Work: Interact with functional, technical, and client teams in a multicultural and international environment.
- Client Support: Assist in the follow-up and analysis of incidents under the guidance of experienced consultants.
Who You Are
Education
- Final-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematical Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial markets, fintech, and technology applied to the financial industry.
Technical Knowledge
Basic knowledge of the following is desirable:
- SQL and relational databases
- Unix/Linux
- Programming or scripting
- Data analysis tools
Financial Knowledge
- Interest in financial products and capital markets.
- Familiarity with concepts related to the trade lifecycle is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial accounting is considered an advantage.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Interest in understanding complex processes and identifying efficient solutions.
Communication
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
