[PENANG / PERAK BASED] POS SYSTEM SUPPORT

We are looking for an experienced POS System Support Executive to provide technical support, implementation, and training for our Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions.

Our POS solutions cover various industries, including:

• F&B POS Systems – GENIUS POS, ZEONIQ and other solutions
• Retail POS Systems – SQL UNIPOS, MPOS, ZEONIQ and other solutions
• AI Weight Scale System
• POS hardware, printers, scanners, cash drawers and other related devices

This is a customer-facing technical role. You will be responsible for helping customers set up, operate, and troubleshoot their POS systems while ensuring their daily business operations run smoothly.

• Install, configure, set up, and maintain POS software and related hardware.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for F&B and retail POS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve POS software, hardware, connectivity, printer, peripheral, and system-related issues.
• Support POS devices such as receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, customer displays, weighing scales, and other peripherals.
• Assist with AI Weight Scale System setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Understand customers' F&B or retail operations and recommend suitable system configurations.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support when required.
• Conduct POS system demonstrations and customer training.
• Guide customers on POS functions and proper system usage.
• Assist with new customer implementation, system setup, testing, and go-live.
• Follow up on support cases and ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Escalate complex issues to the relevant technical or development team when necessary.
• Maintain proper records of customer support cases and solutions.
• Work closely with the sales and support teams on customer requirements and system implementation.

Requirements

⭐ Priority Hiring

• Mandarin-speaking candidates will be given priority, as the role involves providing technical support and training to Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Candidates based in Penang or Taiping will be given priority.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in POS system support, implementation, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience in supporting F&B POS and/or Retail POS systems is strongly preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of POS software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
• Experience in POS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, networking, LAN/Wi-Fi, IP configuration, databases, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Able to diagnose system problems and provide practical solutions independently.
• Experience with weighing scale systems, barcode systems, or related retail technology will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
• Able to conduct system demonstrations and customer training.
• Patient, responsible, and able to handle urgent customer support cases professionally.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with internal technical and sales teams.
• Willing to provide on-site support and travel to customer locations when required.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
