Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for driving growth and expanding My Invented's client base across IT, digital, and branding services. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. The role involves collaborating closely with internal teams to understand service capabilities, prepare proposals and presentations, and ensure that solutions align with client needs and market trends. The Business Development Manager will monitor market developments, maintain a robust sales pipeline, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports and forecasts to leadership. This position also requires representing the company at industry events and client meetings, promoting My Invented's value proposition and long-term partnership approach.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and account management, with the ability to manage the full business development lifecycle.
• Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation to build and sustain long-term partnerships.
• Knowledge of IT, digital, and branding services, including basic understanding of digital marketing, software or service delivery models, and outsourcing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency with sales CRM tools and basic reporting or forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, proposal writing, and professional email communication.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to prioritize multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a business development or sales role within IT, digital, or BPO sectors is preferred.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, inclusive environment and willingness to adapt, learn continuously, and uphold the company's values.
