SDE II (Frontend)

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer (SDE 2) to own the complete mobile experience end-to-end. You will build animation-rich, high-performance React Native applications, make architectural decisions, and deliver scalable mobile experiences used by millions of users.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end mobile architecture, code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Build animation-rich user experiences using React Native, Reanimated, Lottie, and Skia.
• Develop offline-first mobile capabilities using SQLite, MMKV, and caching strategies.
• Optimize app performance across Android and iOS.
• Drive technical architecture and modularization for large-scale mobile applications.
• Implement OTA updates, CI/CD pipelines, and production release workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-facing features.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience with React Native.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React Native internals and native bridges.
• Experience with React, gesture systems, and mobile architecture.
• Experience building and scaling large React Native applications.
• Performance optimization and memory management on Android/iOS.
• Experience with SQLite, MMKV, and offline-first architecture.
• Understanding of iOS/Android build pipelines, OTA updates, and CI/CD.
• Strong ownership mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for building high-quality mobile experiences.
• Interest in combining technology with culturally meaningful products.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Reanimated, Lottie, and React Native Skia.
• Experience building Hindi or regional language applications.
• Experience with content-sharing or creator/content engines.
• Exposure to LLM-based personalization, ML APIs, or observability tools.
• Experience with meditation, journaling, wellness, or devotional applications.
