Position Overview:
MyOme is looking for an experienced and pragmatic individual to join our integrations and portal team. This position will help enable patients and providers to order testing and understand results, bringing clarity and ease of use to complex genetics results. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of healthcare data and an eagerness to build value through fast prototyping and iteration.
What You'll Do:
Add new features to our backend systems to support portal enhancementsSupport integration partners through reusable feature buildsCreate test data to aid in the design and development of our systemsDevelop new APIsContribute to the team through code reviews and design discussionsParticipate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvementBalance quick wins with long-term technical sustainability
Location, Compensation, and Benefits:
Location: Remote in the USCompensation: Annual base salary range is $160,000 - $200,000, based on experience

Requirements
What You'll Need:

If you can do the work well and humbly, we want to talk with you.6+ years of software development experience2+ years of healthcare/biotech experienceExperience with HIPAA compliance and healthcare software, or other privacy-focused frontendsProven track record of building and deploying production-grade web applicationsExperience with CI/CD pipelinesComfortable in Python/DjangoComfortable with designing APIsPreferable experience in genetics
