Responsibilities
- Prepare local and international dishes to high standards.
- Handle hot kitchen operations, salads and grilling.
- Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Manage ingredients and minimise wastage.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant or catering establishment.
- Skills in diverse cuisines, hot kitchen operations, salads and grilling.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations. Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Valid Food Handler’s Medical Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong organisation, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
