Senior Assistant Manager, Laboratory Services
Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the school is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with over 120 faculty members and more than 5,000 students, including around 2,000 graduate students.
We invite applications for the position of Senior Assistant Manager. The incumbent shall provide teaching technical excellence across teaching laboratories in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and technical support for all laboratory users.
Manage Procurement for teaching labs.
Asset management and maintaining proper records for inventory auditing.
Support all assigned laboratory teaching classes.
Familiar with Python and Linux is a plus.
Experience in risk management, workplace safety and health (i.e. ISO 45001) is a plus.
Assist the Safety Committee on laboratory safety matters.
Perform any other duties assigned by the school.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an educational institution is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly motivated, initiative, and proactive.
IT savvy, proficient in MS Office applications.
Meticulous and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
