Nauchsoft, an international software development and IT consulting company, is looking for a full-time Lead Generation specialist. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.
We are looking for a Middle+ Automation QA Engineer to join a long-term international project in the Imaging & Photography Software domain.
The team develops professional desktop software for photo processing and image enhancement, with a strong focus on computer vision, image processing, color science, RAW processing, and AI-based image enhancement.
The products run on Windows and macOS and involve complex image-quality pipelines, support for a wide range of cameras and lenses, and functionality that needs to be validated across different hardware configurations, including CPU, GPU, and NPU environments.

- Develop and evolve the test automation framework supporting existing testing strategies and image-quality pipelines.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated UAT and E2E tests integrated into CI/CD processes.
- Maintain, improve, and develop internal QA tools that simplify and evolve testing processes.
- Convert existing manual test cases into automated tests.
- Contribute to shifting the testing pyramid toward significantly higher automation coverage and reduced manual testing.
- Automate functional, regression, and exploratory testing scenarios where applicable.
- Validate AI-powered image-processing functionality, including output quality, performance, and compatibility.
- Prepare and maintain tests for newly supported camera and lens models.
- Verify correct support of new cameras across desktop products.
- Analyze failures, investigate logs, and collaborate closely with developers on complex issues.
- Review requirements and contribute to improving overall testing processes.
- Actively use Claude and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate automation development, analysis, debugging, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Automation QA.
- Hands-on experience testing desktop applications.
- Experience working with applications on Windows and macOS.
- Good understanding of desktop application architecture.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scenarios.
- Experience working with test automation frameworks and contributing to their development.
- Understanding of software development practices and ability to work closely with developers.
- Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with requirements analysis, defect investigation, and log analysis.
- Ability to quickly understand technical documentation and internal engineering processes.
- Readiness to work with technically complex scenarios related to new camera and lens support.
- Practical experience using AI assistants, especially Claude, in engineering or QA activities.
- Proactive and open communication style.
- Comfortable working directly with an international customer team.
- English level B2 or higher, with strong spoken communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Image Processing, Computer Vision, or AI-based image enhancement.
- Practical experience with digital cameras and photo-processing software.
