Nautilus Solar Energy's ("NSE") FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and forecasting capital expenditure for projects placed in service and under development. They will assist with a 12-month view of monthly liquidity reporting and weekly cash forecasting of construction activities. This position acts as a liaison between various groups, including Construction, Structuring, M&A, Capital Markets, Accounting, Community Solar, Legal, and FP&A. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Construction, Structuring, M&A, Capital Markets, Accounting, Community Solar, and Legal teams to consolidate input and ensure accuracy in forecasting.
- Prepare monthly capex budget vs. actual and budget vs. budget variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing commentary for management review.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and project planning.
- Work with the team to continue to develop and improve current systems and processes.
- Assist in putting together presentation material for monthly liquidity meetings and yearly budgets.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual FP&A processes by utilizing AI/LLM tools.
- Prepare materials for actuals vs modeled cash flows for Operating Portfolios
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities/projects.
Requirements
College degree: Accounting or Finance majors preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects on different timelines.
Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
High Proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Power BI or other BI tools.
Possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with various levels and functions of the organization.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
AI power user preferred - comfortable using AI tools for data cleaning, modeling, and analysis.

Benefits
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
