General Ledger Controller
Warsaw, Poland - hybrid
GL Controller reports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards.
- Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
- Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
- Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
- Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries.
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar
- At least 2+ years of experience within SSC environment in a related process area and/or accounting (preferably in General Ledger or A2R area)
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
- Strong willingness to learn and develop.
