As an Sales Assistant, you are the final line of defense in ensuring every shipment is built accurately, every appointment is confirmed, and every customer inquiry is met with a prompt, professional response.

The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will provide critical support across the organization, adapting to the needs of the day to ensure seamless logistics execution. You will be the engine that ensures nothing falls through the cracks during peak demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapid Response & Tender Management: Maintain a relentless focus on speed by responding to Tenders in 15 minutes or less, ensuring we never miss an opportunity to serve our clients.
• Precision Load Building: Translate complex shipment data into accurate system loads, ensuring every detail-from weight to special instructions-is captured perfectly to prevent service failures.
• Tactical Scheduling: Manage the full lifecycle of appointments and confirmations. You will be responsible for the "boots on the ground" coordination that keeps drivers moving and warehouses efficient.
• Digital Hub Management: Act as the master of our customer portals, providing real-time updates and ensuring our digital footprint is as accurate as our physical movement.
• Admin:v Lead the charge on POD (Proof of Delivery) collections, ensuring the billing cycle is completed swiftly and accurately.
• End-of-Day Excellence: Conduct rigorous EOD audits of all loads with outstanding appointments to ensure 100% coverage and clarity for the following day’s operations.
• Customer Advocacy: Provide "white-glove" service through prompt acknowledgment of all customer inquiries, serving as a reliable resource for information and issue resolution.
