Requirements:

  • Mandatory - RDBMS - MySQL; NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra ).
  • Proficiency in any one programming language.
  • Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals.
  • Proven experience with the MySQL query optimiser.
  • Automation mindset. This is not a typical manual admin profile.
  • Proven database migration experience.
  • If you focus on details, it will be good for us to understand you.
  • Proven experience with database upgrades.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e. g., 20-50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial.
  • Good if you are able to convert business use cases to technical requirements.
  • Proven experience with the WiredTiger engine.
  • Good understanding of sharding, partitioning, sharded clusters, replication, HA, and DR. We will evaluate based on these.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Good understanding of OLAP databases. Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers. Cloud SQL and RDS.
