Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
  • Build and execute automation test frameworks using Pytest and/or Robot Framework.
  • Develop and maintain reusable automation libraries, test utilities, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Validate APIs and backend functionality as part of automation testing.
  • Maintain test scripts and frameworks as application requirements evolve.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines wherever applicable.
  • Prepare test reports, document defects, and track testing progress.
  • Collaborate with QA, developers, and business teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and framework reliability.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python automation.
  • Practical experience with Pytest and/or Robot Framework.
  • Experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Good understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
