Key Responsibilities :
- Sprint management : Own sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for one or more agile pods; track commitments, surface blockers early, and maintain a clean backlog with the BA and tech lead.
- Delivery coordination : Coordinate work across engineers, QA, BAs, and external dependencies; manage task assignment and priority shifts within the sprint without waiting for escalation.
- Stakeholder communication : Prepare and deliver clear, concise sprint status updates for internal delivery heads and client-facing reports; translate technical progress into business-readable language and flag risks before they become issues.
- Risk and issue tracking : Maintain an active risk and issue log; own the resolution path for blockers within your pod and escalate cross-pod or client-level issues with context and a proposed course of action.
- Technical liaison : Work closely with tech leads to understand development dependencies, estimate accuracy, and release readiness; challenge assumptions grounded in delivery data, not just instinct.
- Metrics and reporting : Track sprint velocity, bug open/close rates, release frequency, and scope change; produce concise delivery dashboards for internal and client review on a regular cadence.
- Scope and change management : Identify and document scope changes as they arise; assess impact on timeline and budget before committing the pod to additional work.
- Onboarding and team continuity : Support onboarding of new pod members; maintain runbooks, sprint artefacts, and process documentation so delivery continuity is not person-dependent.
- Client coordination : Manage day-to-day client touchpoints - clarifying requirements, confirming acceptance criteria, scheduling demos, following up on open decisions - with minimal supervision.
