Netsmart Technologies (ntst.com) is a healthcare software and IT solution provider headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. Founded in 1968, the company specializes in developing integrated electronic health record (EHR) systems, revenue cycle management (RCM) platforms, data analytics, and care coordination tools tailored for community-based healthcare providers. Its software suites primarily serve human services, behavioral health, addiction treatment, autism care, and post-acute healthcare sectors (including home care, hospice, and senior living communities).

At Netsmart, improving care delivery isn't just our aspiration, it's our passion! For more than 50 years, we've been a healthcare software company developing technology and providing services in the behavioral health, human services, and Post-Acute markets. We collaborate with organizations and partner with our clients across the care spectrum to anticipate challenges, identify obstacles and recognize new opportunities as healthcare evolves. We continuously strive to advance our Netsmart technologies and offerings beyond the EHR by embracing new technology trends that empower healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.

At Netsmart, Project Managers play a critical role in helping healthcare organizations successfully navigate meaningful technology transformation. This opportunity will support our Post-Acute Consulting team and myUnity Uplift initiatives, partnering directly with clients as they move through complex technology and implementation projects.

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead client-facing projects from planning through delivery, bringing structure and momentum to cross-functional teams while keeping clients, internal stakeholders and project resources aligned around key milestones and outcomes. The work requires someone who can balance strong project management fundamentals with the relationship skills needed to build credibility with healthcare clients and internal teams.

This is an opportunity to work within Netsmart’s Post-Acute myUnity organization, where the team supports technology that spans the post-acute care continuum and continues to evolve through new capabilities, integrations and AI-enabled functionality. The team is looking for Project Managers who can step into complex client environments, quickly understand the moving pieces and confidently drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning execution monitoring and closure to meet defined scope timeline and budget
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align priorities and manage dependencies and drive project outcomes
  • Manage project risks issues and changes by identifying impacts and implementing mitigation actions
  • Establish and maintain project governance reporting and documentation to support visibility and decision-making
  • Guide teams on project methodology deliverables and standards to ensure consistent execution
  • Manage resource allocation and utilization to optimize delivery efficiency and performance
