Duties & Responsibilities Our client is on the hunt for a Power Electronics Hardware Engineer who’s ready to take innovation from concept to reality. If you live and breathe circuits, components, and cutting-edge tech, this role is your chance to shine.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and testing advanced power electronic circuits (DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor drives).
- Selecting and optimizing components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drivers, transformers, and capacitors).
- Performing schematic capture, PCB layout, and DFM (design for manufacturability).
- Collaborating with Embedded, Mechanical, and Systems Engineers on integrated solutions.
- Running simulations (SPICE, LTspice, and PLECS) to perfect your designs.
- Debugging, testing, and validating prototypes in the lab.
- Ensuring that designs comply with safety and EMC standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or similar).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics hardware development.
- Strong grasp of semiconductors & magnetics.
- Experience with simulation tools and lab debugging instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.).
- Familiarity with thermal & EMI/EMC considerations in power design.
- A problem-solver with sharp attention to detail.
